The songs presented on the "Freewill Offering" album are a representation of my thoughts and perceptions during my ongoing walk with God as a Christian. Some offer praise, some recount thoughts and descriptions of many things that the Holy Spirit has helped me to understand and become over the years. My music is composed in the style of classic Americana. The songs are a culmination of beloved tones, rhythms, and beats spanning the flavors of multiple genres. I’ve played in cover bands for decades performing the songs I grew up with and gravitated toward over the years. The more my heart grew in the Spirit, I found myself clinging to the sounds but discouraged by the lyrics. In these latter years, I became determined to make a Christian album that felt moving and exciting with Godly lyrics along with the flavor of sounds that I appreciate.

Though my appreciation for gospel music, psalms, hymns of the past, praise and worship music, and some other styles of Christian music is in tact, I have culminated that which I desire to hear in this current album release. I hope you hear some melodies that you like in these spiritual songs, but more importantly, I hope that the lyrics provoke your yearning for Christ and touch your life while you’re enjoying these tones and sounds spanning the living generations.
